Thankfully Refreshed

Now that Thanksgiving is over, let's get to the good stuff.
But I totally don't feel that way at all. Love Thanksgiving.

What I didn't love was the 10 hour drive home on Tuesday afternoon. I could have done without that. I was originally supposed to get home around 7:45 Tuesday evening but it wasn't until 10:45 that I was pulling into my driveway and sprinting to the bathroom.

It's true- after 10 hours I'm pretty sure any human being would be about ready to burst. At least I was. And all that stopping and starting didn't help at all. The good thing was I really felt a strong connection with my fellow I95 travelers. We had this unspeakable bond that mysteriously developed. You know- I'll let you move in front of me because I just saw you let her move in front of you and she just let me in front of her like 10 minutes ago.

Our connection was deep.

But enough of that stuff. I want to add too many pictures to this post to let myself get carried away with boring traffic stories.

Thanksgiving break started off beautifully. We jumped right in with a sibling/mother lunch at Angela's Cafe- no picture of that though. Someone seriously messed up there.

Then Thursday- the big day- began with the Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade!
We all got up early and cuddled on the couch to watch. Even Shasty was feelin' it.
But for real- my dog is the nerdiest thing ever. That's why she's the best dog in the world.

Dan was our red man all morning long. He pretended to be into his computer game, but we all know he was just as excited to hear Scotty sing.
Cutie.

And that ends this year's segment of - "watching the parade before showers, makeup, and clothing-change photos." Although MC did sleep with her mascara on this year to make pictures a bit more bearable... but the rest of us didn't get that memo.
Then over the river and through the woods, to Grandma Martin's we {went}.

We stuffed our faces with grandma's good cookin' and then all cuddled up for a family nap.
Well not really, but I'm pretty sure everyone was tired.
I did take a picture of the food.

Dan was most excited about the mashed potatoes. I don't blame him!

Yes, I ate everything on my plate. And I enjoyed every last bite.
You would too if all you had to eat for the past 3 months was dining hall food.

From left to right starting at the bottom: brown buttered noodles, Lima beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey, corn.
Upper left corner: coleslaw
Then after digging through grandma's hidden treasures, MC and I decided to play with her camera outside.

I allowed myself to cross the street.

Then we went to the backyard.

We took a good amount of pictures, but I'll control myself.

We also headed out to do some shopping on Saturday. We went all over Lancaster County.
Went to Kitchen Kettle...

Made use of the brick steps...

Acted crazy...

And enjoyed the serenity of the fish ponds!

We also decorated!
It's officially Christmas at the Martin's.

We pose... we pose.

She's trying out a new smiling technique ;)

Pretty mamma

I think Kyle was the only one really working to get the lights up.

Also, Daddy bought himself a new television.
I know, stranger things are still to be done here... but this one really blows my mind.

We're still in shock.

And then Dan was being weird again. Story of my life.

Real quick conclusion?
I left Sunday morning at 8am and beat the holiday crowds (ha! Take that holiday crowds!) and made it back to school in exactly 7 hours.
I walked in my room, threw my stuff on the floor, climbed into my bed, and I fell FAST asleep.

Thus ending my holiday vacation.
And guess what I have to do now? Yes. My final homework problem for accounting.

Here she goes.

(After trying thousands of different password and username combinations (literally), my Christmas playlist is FINALLY up and running again. You better enjoy it.)

I Really Need To Do My Nails...

So I'm sitting at work right? Holding down the fort while my boss eats her lunch when a girl comes up to me and starts whining because she "NEEDS" a teacher to open the studio for her.
Then she wrinkles her noes and says,
"Well, I really need to know where she (my boss) went!"

I smiled and simply said she's on her lunch break.
Truth is- my boss is sitting around the corner eating her lunch.
BUT I wouldn't want this whiner to interrupt her while she's eating.
Deal with it you whining senior-art-student
(Gayle, I will never whine again! *Maybe*)

I don't even know what I'm supposed to update about right now. Maria mentioned that she wanted to know how the whole food-truck rally went in Raleigh.
I kinda laughed and thought to myself, "Food-truck rally?"
It took a while to remember it, because we didn't really go.

Well, we went, but it was disappointing and frustrating and cold and windy, so we left.
We were also asked a good 19 times if we wanted wrist bands so that we could drink alcohol.
We said no.

So that was a big time bummer.
Not to mention that was like, 1 month ago.
My how time speeds along so quickly.

I was just thinking the other day that I should change my playlist over to my Christmas music again, just to get everyone in the holiday mood!
We'll see if that happens.
I've got quite a lot going on in my world right now.
I have about 2 weeks of classes left before finals.
TWO WEEKS.

So that means that every professor in town is assigning projects and papers and exams (oh my!) for either this week or next. Want to hear my schedule? I'm going to tell you.

This week went something like this:
Monday: Speech outline due, Econ exam
Tuesday: Um... nothing!
Wednesday: Com paper due
Thursday: Accounting exam
Friday: NOTHING!

Then there's always next week:
Monday: Speech!
Tuesday: 2 projects due
Wednesday: NOTHING
Thursday: HR Exam and 1 HUGE project due
Friday: Economics project due

If I didn't know any better, I'd think that my professors were out to get me and ruin my life and blah blah blah. But I know better, so that clearly isn't the case.

So I've been busier than a Keebler Elf at Christmastime.

Last night while I was studying for my accounting exam, I suddenly realized that my calculator was talking to me.

The feeling is most certainly mutual, old calculator friend.

I've also been doing fun things though, you know- to keep myself functioning properly and all that good stuff. I also don't want to stress out.
Imagine me, stressed out.
Not the most fun thing in the world.

So with the mall being so close, I've been making the occasional visit or two or twelve- you know.
I was so happy when I went last week and saw the decorations already out. I mean, it was like the first or second of November and Crabtree Valley Mall was ready to go.

They go big with Christmas decorating.
Then, better yet, I was overjoyed when I made my most beloved visit to Starbucks and was given the option of purchasing a Peppermint Mocha Latte... In a RED cup!

I mean come on people, it's freaking Christmas
I do still love Thanksgiving though- don't give me that crap. Next time I go to Starbucks it's going to be a Pumpkin Spice for me. I just can't let go of my Thanksgiving and pumpkiny, spicy goodness just yet.
Speaking of Starbucks... I should maybe treat myself tonight, right?
We'll see. We'll see.

I'm seriously going through my computer and my phone, searching for pictures and reminders of all that I've done since my last post.
I really can't think of anything else! It's so sad.

I really dislike being so busy. I mean, the only reason I'm updating my blog is because my boss left without giving me any work, and she told me to stay here.
I'm not doing anything wrong, I promise.
I have a countdown 'til Thanksgiving break on my phone- right now, we're at 12 days until I get to leave!

I'm so excited! I just can't hide it!
Me, Orville, and our old pal Lee driving home to good old Pennsylvania for some homemade pumpkin pie.
Orville is my car, and Lee is the name of the voice on my GPS.
We're a great team.
We capitalize on each of our individual strengths.
Without both of them, I wouldn't be able to make it home.
And without me, they would be far less personalized, don't you think?

Oh shame, I believe it is starting to rain.
I don't even have my umbrella!

Epitome of Perfection

Today really is a great day.
But you don't even know what I've been up to. Let's start with that.

I was home a few weeks ago on Fall break. That was pretty fabulous. It was 2 weeks ago. Wow- time flies!
But anyway, I did lots of great Lancaster-style things.

First thing Thursday morning, Mom and I got ourselves some exceptional Amish lady doughnuts.
Nothing quite like them.

I also spent quality time with Shasta...

... and we spent some time at Cardinal Hill for Heritage Days in Blaine.
Unfortunately, I missed Neck-Beard this year. But MC saw him and won herself $5.
I think.

A cool orange car!

And speaking of cool- let's just all take a moment to appreciate my little brother right now. Look at how cute he is for something he did at home. Mom texted me the picture a few weeks back. He doesn't read my blog, so he'll never know.
Unless you tell him.
Then I'm in trouble.

How cute, right? That's what I'm saying.
What else?

This week is the NC State Fair- it's a big deal. I mean, they have a 20 minute fireworks show every night for one week.
Which sounds like bombs dropping on the Meredith campus. FYI.

So I went to the fair on the first night- last Thursday.
It was the night of the Deepfried tweet-up. Since I now have a twitter account, I could participate!
It was so fun- a scavenger hunt around the fair with my best friend and a pretty cool uncle.
We did lots of fun things!
First I ran into our cone-man friend from 2 years ago.
This is cone-man now.

Then I invested in a really big turkey leg, which Skye helped me eat. We still didn't finish it though.

We had to get a picture with an animal. So this is Julie, the cow, some little farm-girl, Skye, and myself.

Ever hear of the Kripsy Kreme Burger?
I tasted one!
A cheeseburger with Krispy Kreme doughnuts in place of the bread-buns.
Skye enjoys them.

While I did enjoy the burger, I was much more interested in my red-velvet funnel-cake.
With cream cheese icing.
The fair is such a happy place!

If you're at all interested in hearing our opinions about these delicacies, you should click HERE
Scroll down and watch the video. We were hanging out with Amy, the Deep Fried Ambassador. She's the real deal. But anyway, I'm the very last on the video, so don't give up on it until you see me!

We also had a challenge to get as many people in a picture with the giant grocery cart.
So Skye and I are there, with the cart, and a bunch of random people.
Carter took the picture. And invited the guests.

That's my roommate, Skye, posing with a Donkey.
Another challenge.

Then we found a pretty waterfall!

We also went to the fair again on Monday night for a concert.
Steel Magnolia?
Yeah, it was pretty good. Except that Steel is in rehab (or so the story goes), so we listened to Miss Magnolia for an hour.
She's got a great voice though, so it was okay.

Monday was also stressful though- 3 exams on the same day. But I got results from 2 back, and I got A's on both. Not too shabby, I must say! I'm still holding my breath for the third one though.

Charlie the janitor just stopped in to say hi to me.
Hey Charlie.
He's feeling better- good, good.

Today is a really great day.
First great thing- I understood everything that was happening in my accounting class.
Even better? I kind of enjoyed the topic today.
Mostly because I understood it.

Also, it's cold today! I think the high was like, 62 degrees. Right now it's 59. Loving it! Fall is here!
I don't even know why else it's good. I'm going to a food-truck rally in Raleigh tonight. That should be fun! Maybe that will be my next post.

I really shouldn't let it go this long in-between.
It's like I have so much to say and not enough of space!

I saw a Christmas commercial yesterday, and I smiled.
It's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year!

Did you know there are only 35 days until Thanksgiving?

So thankful!

Pennsylvania, Where's My Pumpkin Pie?

First person to guess what next week is gets to sit beside me at Jubala while I drink my latte!
Lynda is on my right, so you'll have to settle for my left.
Next week is...
DRUM ROLL PEOPLE!
Midterms.
Mid-stinkin-terms.
And guess what I'm doing today? Am I cramming for my first midterm tomorrow morning at 9am? Am I stressing over the week filled with exams the size of a planet?
No, of course not. Do you know me?

What I am doing is sitting in this cute little coffee shop with my sweatshirt and my laptop and my latte with my Aunt (who is actually stressing about school because she's so studious like that) and I'm updating my blog.

BUT it's not because I'm not studious (though some may disagree), it's because I don't have a single exam, paper, quiz, etc. in the upcoming week. Look at me, flying through life.
And yes, I expect my entire college career to be so effortless and stress-free.
Don't ruin this for me.

I don't want to ruin this beautiful drink but it looks so tasty!
Trust, it's tasty.

Last weekend I roughed it in the mountains with the Meredith Honors people. We went to Asheville and stayed at a 4H camp for the weekend.
Our cabins were hardcore, complete with resident spiders and florescent green bathroom walls, the functioning toilet (1 toilet, singular) and frigid showers.

Bonding ladies, bonding.

We spent the first day doing team building activities.
Outside.
In a field.
On an unusually hot September day.
Four hours.

But we cooled down later that evening.
A few of us crashed the neighboring high school football game.
Owen vs. Marshall. It was intense!
They did some fancy triple overtime thing, and the home team got a lucky break in the final few minutes and pulled out a win!
Owen for the win!

We also went to the Biltmore um... Mansion?
Pretty sure my mansion in Heaven will be 33,987,399 times better, but still.
It's a big deal.

Naturally I had to strike a pose.

I wish my front yard had a fountain...

Sure, money can't buy happiness.
But it can buy a really large home.
With an indoor bowling alley, indoor swimming pool, indoor pool house/changing rooms, a few hundred rooms, private staircases leading into the large library, etc. etc. etc.

We also went into downtown Asheville and found a really cute coffee shop called Old Europe- super fantastic. We stopped by the Chocolate Lounge because, really, who wouldn't want to see what that's all about? I got a brownie that rocked my world
It was a peppermint-fudge-brownie.

I also saw a man and a woman painted completely white, and another man with a blue face.
That was awesome.
I managed to sneak a picture of the blue faced man in front of the Chocolate Lounge.

Last week ran away with the week before (I think the spoon and the cow might have had something to do with it, but we can't be certain).
And here we are! The weekend, already.

The C-rains and I hit up the Asheboro Fall Festival yesterday.
We walked in, were asked to accompany Hurley elsewhere (no dogs allowed!), got some homemade chips with cheese, fried mushrooms, ham and biscuit sandwiches, a turkey leg, roasted corn, and a can of coke, and then we left.
We left!

My word, we got a lot of food.

Stupid no dogs allowed rule wasn't posted online, just at the entrances which we apparently didn't go through.

So Hurley hung out with some crazy animals while we returned to the festival with Lynda's friends from work.
I learned important information about the Running with the Bulls in Spain, and that a ball of light will burn you after being illuminated for some time.

Random day- for sure.

Then Lynda had studying to do and she couldn't focus in her home (filled with all kinds of stuff that "needed" to be done), so here we are at the coffee shop.
She's getting so much accomplished!
*coughing, coughing, coughing*
As soon as she comes out of the bathroom I'm going to tell her that if she doesn't start working, she's going to be blogged about in a negative light.

A creepy man just walked in and made awkward eye contact with everyone in here, including myself, before rounding the corner out of sight.
Oh wait, he's back now.
And there he goes. Right out the same door he walked through no more than 45 seconds ago.

If you don't think that's creepy because it's something that you would do, please friends, re-think this behavior as it is most definitely creepy.

I've suddenly hit a creativity wall and can not think of a single thing that I would want to say.
My feet are cold. Brr!
Fall is here!
I want pumpkin pie.

And I get to go home in 3 days!
Think of me, I'm going to drive 7 hours by myself.
In my car.
Alone.
Sounds awfully boring, doesn't it?

But it's going to happen!
Wednesday, Wednesday. Please come faster, Wednesday!

Walkin' on Sunshine

Starting things off with a big apology for my last update. Stupid thing decided to just not include the majority of my post. Honestly, after I saw what had happened, I couldn't make myself write the same thing over again. I just had no motivation what-so-ever.

But happy thoughts are always fun. So here's what I've been up to.

This past week was a doozie for me. I had an economics exam on Friday, a speech on Monday, human resource management exam on Tuesday, and an accounting exam on Thursday.

I was pretty stressed last weekend, and spent lots of time studying and making sure that I understood all of the material and all that. I made note-cards for my speech and everything.
That's kind of a funny story.

I had a hair appointment on Monday at 12 to get my color done.
Yes, I now have dark hair again.
Lynda got the appointment for me, because she's good like that, so I drove to her house and left my stuff there (not my brightest idea), and then she drove to the salon. Which was great.
Anyway, it took a little bit longer than I was expecting it to take, and I had class at 3:30. So rather than Lynda taking me to her house first to get my car and my stuff, she took me straight to school so that I wouldn't be late.
However, my stuff was in my car, in her driveway, at her house.

So my note-cards that I worked so hard to prepare? Yeah they didn't happen.
I winged it! (What else is new?)
I made stuff up, I talked slow, I made eye contact... I didn't do too shabby.
We had "conferences" with the professor after everyone was finished, and I expected her to be all, "next time, prepare a little bit more- don't say 'um' so much..." but she didn't have one thing that I needed to work on.
This is me, tooting my own horn.
(It's my blog, I have my rights.)
I had excellent eye contact, she loved my intro, my time was 3:02 (fit perfectly within the 3-5 min. time frame), and I didn't say 'um'. Job well done. I can fake out my public speaking professor.
I just looked online to see my grade for that speech- 100%. Life's good.

Then the rest of the exams- it was good news. 97% in economics, 91% in human resource management, and 92% in accounting.
I'll take your praise. You can put my picture on your refrigerator if you want to. I'm open to things like that.

Then, to top off such a crazy week- last night was our Sizzlin' September concert at school. Well, it was moved to an indoor place because it was raining, but it was for Meredith students.
So Gloriana and Tyler Hilton sang away my stress for a whole 2 hours last night. It was a great evening.

Tyler Hilton opened up- he's a great live performer. I was in awe of his voice. He didn't miss a single note- a really great singer.

He's pretty fun to look at too. Just sayin'. He's also my all-time favorite character on One Tree Hill- which is the greatest show ever.

I went with Abigail- she doesn't really like country music but she went with my anyway. What a pal!

Gloriana is my favorite country band. Such fun performers and love their loud music!

It was hard to get pictures of this guy- he's so full of energy and was bee-bopping all across the stage. But he's my favorite- I love Mike.

Rachel, with the voice of an angel.

And Tom, who needs a haircut.

We decided to brave the crowds of crazed college girls for some autographs/pictures.
And we succeeded.

Tyler Hilton held my hand as he signed my wrist-band. Sparks flew. I'm never washing my right wrist again. Just a warning.

Oh yeah, then I got a picture with him. There were fireworks. It was like the 4th of July or something. He's coming with me to Christmas dinners now. It's going to happen.
4. Meet a famous person
Checking that off of my bucket list.

And this is how close I got to Gloriana before my camera decided it had been through enough and happily turned itself off.
Completely full battery after a Gloriana/ Tyler Hilton concert= completely dead battery.
I was so disappointed. They were right in front of me.
No signatures or pictures from/with them.
This time.

I was very happy with the way that the evening went. I had a great time listening to great artists playing great music.
Even greater? It was a free concert for students. Did I mention that before?
So all of the crappy dining hall food, the bipolar temperatures of the dorm rooms, the fluorescent lighting everywhere... it's all okay because I met Tyler Hilton and almost met Gloriana.
Meredith and I are okay.
Meredith has been redeemed.
So how can a weekend top this? We'll see. Next weekend might just do it. I'm going to Asheville, NC with the honors program. Biltmore Estate? Yes.
More on that later.

Today has proven to be pretty relaxed so far. By the grace of God, it is not blitzin hot outside. High of 65, currently 60. Yesterday I don't think it even made it past like 58.
Can I get an amen?!
I'm so ready for Fall that I just made a playlist on itunes called, "Olive Fall" because, I love fall.
Adele is singing now, Kenny G was just playing, and up next may be someone like Celine Dion.
It's great.
I have a project that I need to sort of start sometime today. It's not due until midterms, but I'm trying to be proactive this semester and continue to make A's and stuff like that.
So I'm just going to sit here and daydream of the possibilities of this Fall, think about last night, and listen to my happy music.

You enjoy your day too.

...to make you feel my love...

You Know I Like My Chicken Fried

The time has come to once again write about my life.
I'm game.

Classes are off and running, and so far they're not too shabby. Here's why...
Since I'm pretty sure I'm going to do interpersonal communication, I get to take classes that are fun. Well, fun in my opinion. Right now I'm in public speaking and interpersonal communication- both of which are relatively easy so far.
I just made a collage of my life last weekend, and tomorrow I get to present it to my interpersonal class, so that's fun.
Then in public speaking, I get to talk about random things to 15 other people. It's fun. My professor told me yesterday that I have excellent eye contact, but I say "uh" a lot.
Uh... shucks.

My other three classes are for my potential business minor. The first is microeconomics, which has so far been the same as my macroeconomics class that I owned last semester. I mean, same book, same first 3 chapters, same material (obviously)- so it's pretty easy. Our first exam is tomorrow, and I'm so ready for it to be over so that I can finally start learning new things in economics.

The second class is human resource management, and it's a little bit boring, if we're being honest. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it's really a piece of cake. We don't ever have homework, follow powerpoint slideshows in class... no big deal. Our first exam is on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll feel the same after that!

And finally, I have accounting which is a nightmare. There is nothing else that I can say, except that I hate, hate, hate, accounting. And that's fine- it's certainly not for me. The only reason I'm taking it is because it is a prerequisite class for most of the upper level business courses, and my faculty advisor is an accounting professor.

We'll say accounting has become my new biology. I know... not biology again! Sorry.

Anyway, Labor day weekend was nice- we had Monday off, so I didn't think it was enough of time to drive home, but I didn't want to be alone all weekend. So what did I do? I crashed with the Crains!

And I had fun.
I think they like me, because they gave me my very own house key. Now I don't have to wait on the front porch with the mosquitoes, strange neighbors and stray dogs.
No, you can't have the key. It's mine and Lynda gave me strict instructions to NOT pass it around from person to person. It's my key.
She was very nice about it though, and she is a great person and role model and influence.

She took me under her wing and showed me the ropes (or string?) in eyebrow threading. Well she didn't really show me, she just let me tag along with her to the cute little shop where I almost lost my life.
Not going to lie- it hurt. Not just physical pain- though that was pretty rough. My pride also took a hit (not that I'm a proud person). This like, 12 year old girl who I could hardly understand due to a stinking language barrier threaded my eyebrows. I mean, I was letting a child rip my eyebrows out of my head with a flipping string!
She first asked me to do something with my hands, I didn't understand so I responded with the infamous, "huh?" She proceeded to pick up my right hand, and guided it to my right eye where she pushed my eyelid down. Okay, so I hold my eyes shut, got it. I proceeded to do the same with my left hand to my left eye.
This was wrong.

Year 2.

I've survived a whole week as a sophomore!

I can't believe I'm in college, let alone in my second year. This is going way faster than I ever would have imagined. I'm not sure if I'm okay with that or not. I think I'm mostly just ready to be finished with school and be moving on with my life.
Hopefully I'll stop feeling that way. I really am working on thoroughly enjoying this year.

I want it to be epic!

Anyway, Dad and Mom drove down and MC and I came along behind in my car. Now let me tell you, THAT was a party you wish you had been invited to.
We left good ole' Narvon at 4:30am, and made it to the big city around 12pm.

I can proudly say that the only time I stalled Orville (my car, his name is Orville) was when we were trying to get breakfast and Daddy was doing some tricks in the parking lot and was driving like an old man.

Other than that, I did great! Got a bit sleepy, but MC was a trooper. She sang loud, she screamed randomly to make sure that I was alert, and she stayed awake the whole time.
Ta-rooper.

Then we had a nice relaxing day on Saturday, and started to move in on Sunday.
We each loaded up with boxes and bags, and trekked up to the second floor of my new dorm building. After the first trip, MC was ready to call it a day.

But what did I tell you? She's a trooper!

That's actually my roommate's bed that she's crashed on.

We worked hard and dragged my whole life up that flight of stairs. MC fixed my bed, mom organized my closet, dad hung my pictures, and I tackled my desk (which is significantly smaller than last year!).

^^ So that's my corner ^^
My dresser is tucked nicely underneath my bed, as well as my laundry basket and a tub filled with winter clothes.
Literally filled- like the tub is busting open.

My closet is the one on the right, obviously not the one that says Skye.
That would be Skye's. She's cool =)

I decided to put some pictures on the door, because it's just so fun!
I was being lazy, yes. I sat on my bed just now and took this picture. I didn't feel like getting down- it's Sunday night, give me a break.

We were all sweating like crazy and so ready to call it quits after a few hours.
I'm thinking it was a grand total of 5 hours that we spent moving things in.

No, wait. We went out for lunch and got some necessities. So we weren't working hardcore the whole time.

But I'm happy with it.
That's my very tired-self with my side of the room.

I love the hardwood floors, and I love that my bed is so high that my blankets will NEVER touch the floor.

Life is good!
I just got back from my first weekend with the Crains, and am seriously worn out.
We went on a brisk 2 mile walk around some lake thing today.
Never thought I would say it, but...
I had fun!
It was a beautiful day, and we passed some pretty interesting people.

Is it wrong that interesting people amuse me?
Nah.
But yeah, we even did some running (ooh, aah!), some picture taking, some pull-ups... you understand ;)

I'm tired.
Then I got back to school right in time for the downpour of the summer! I had to carry my backpack filled with books, and a duffel bag the size of Maryland through the pouring rain, practically across campus. To save myself, I cut through one of the freshmen dorms.

Probably wasn't my wisest move- I ended up slipping and falling on my rear, walking up 3 flights of stairs, and getting stuck in the doorway because I had too much stuff.

But I made it! And here I sit, with my poor little legs screaming at me to never take a single step again, and my tailbone wishing I would stand up instead of sit down.
Quite the predicament, you know?

Something tells me I'll survive. And goodness, I have to make it through a whole week of classes! I was done after only a 3 day week, now I have to do 5 AND work!
Dramatic.

Prayers appreciated.
